complete with surfing lessons, great beach music,
beachcombing adventures, and so much more?

For children from ages 3 years to current 5th graders

2008 VBS INFO & FAQs

• June 23-27,2008; 9am-12noon daily (M-F); Stony Point Worship Center.
• Ages 3 (potty-trained) to 11 years (current 5th graders)
• Beach Party theme (Surfin' Through the Scriptures), Science lab, crafts, singing, Bible stories, snacks, games & MORE!
• Registration begins April 20th for church members & May 4th for the public. Registration closes June 1st. (Parent/Adult must fill out a form for EACH child participating.)
• Slots are open on a first come, first served basis, so register early! A limited number of "walk-in" slots will be held until the first day of VBS, but there are no guarantees of availability.
• Tuition is strictly by donation & confidential. It costs FUMC approximately $25 per child. (see flyer on "What Shall I Pay for VBS?") Checks should be made to FUMC Santa Rosa with VBS in the memo line.
• Kids who register by June 1st will receive a t-shirt the first day of VBS. Space permitting, those who register after the deadline (June 1st) MAY be able to purchase at-shirt.  Also available on a first come basis for $3 each are CD-ROMS with this year's VBS songs & games.
• Kids will receive snacks at VBS, but not lunch. They need to be checked in by 9am & picked up promptly at 12noon at the Stony Point Worship Center.
• To wrap up the week's fun, there will be an all-church family BEACH PARTY BBQ & BAND the evening of Friday, June 27 from 6-8pm on the Stony Point campus. Parents, grandparents, friends, etc. are invited to hear the kids sing, see/hear what they learned, celebrate a great week, eat and have fun!
