Here at the First United Methodist Church of Santa Rosa we strive to teach children about God’s great love in an environment rich with friendship, fun, and caring. Through music, stories, crafts, games and activities our children discover the building blocks of respect, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and faith. Our dynamic Sunday morning program includes classes where kids use all of their senses to “hear, see & live their belief in God” as well as a creative arts assembly time. During this assembly, they sing, pray, work on art projects & explore creative ways to develop their faith & share God’s love. Each Sunday morning we offer:
Montgomery Campus Sunday School: Begins 9:30am at 1551 Montgomery Dr. Stony Point Campus Sunday School: Begins 10:45am at 2150 Giffen Ave.

In addition to our Sunday morning programs, we also have many activities for children & families throughout the year. These include: Children’s Bell Choir, Children’s Orchestra, seasonal children’s performances, family community service projects, an annual Easter Egg Hunt, monthly “Family Fun Adventures,” our Halloween “Trunk or Treat” extravaganza, Christmas & Advent activities, and more! Each summer we hold our Vacation Bible School where approximately 100 children converge on our Stony Point campus for a week of fun, crafts, games, science experiments, and learning about God’s love. The week of June 22-26, 2009 we trekked to the extreme adventure Camp E.D.G.E. where kids “Explored & Discovered God Everywhere.” Come and join us! Help us reach up to God, and reach out to others with a positive message of hope, love and caring. Everyone is warmly welcomed! |
