Worship Ministries

Santa Rosa First United Methodist Church offers these various worship experiences (held weekly on Sunday, unless noted otherwise):

• The 8:00 service (Montgomery) - presented in an informal-style in our medium-large Fellowship Hall on cozily-cushioned chairs with coffee and tea service tables ringing the west-end of the room. 
• The 9:30 and 11:00 services (Montgomery) - conducted in the beautifully remodeled Sanctuary using a “blended-style” of worship with new and traditional hymns, choral offerings, organ playing and various people leading worship from the chancel. 
• The 10:45 service (Stony Point) - features a more “contemporary” feel with a dynamic Praise Team and lots of singing in our newly built, elegantly lofty space called the Community Worship Center. 
• The 12:30 Fijian Language worship (Montgomery) - brings native speakers together to celebrate the one and universal God in word, song and prayer. 
• The 5:00pm Youth program (Stony Point) - supported by these 6 Sonoma County United Methodist Churches: 1st UMC, Christ Church UM, Forestville UMC, Petaluma UMC, Rohnert Park UMC and Sebastopol UMC.
• The “Spirit Café” on Tuesday nights at 5:30pm (Montgomery) - features a light meal prior to an informal worship around cafe-style, round tables.
  
• Through the activities of our Older Adult Ministry program, specially commissioned representatives bring to individual homes the elements of the Holy Communion service.
• Through the Older Adult Ministry program, monthly services are conducted at Avalon at Brush Creek.
