OSCAR RETURNS TO SANTA ROSA

It’s strictly formal attire, dahling, as our youth once again step into the spotlight to share their elegance and creativity with the world. Entertainment Tonight said the kids looked fab last year, and this spring the event has jumped to the top of the social “must do” calendar.

May 4 will be a night to remember, as our Sonoma County United Methodist Youth (SCUMY) present their very special “Academy Awards Night.” This ticket is so hot that it’s a real faux pas to miss it!

During March and April, our youth have been writing, directing, and creating their own short movies at their Sunday night meetings. They will submit their movies to be reviewed, and awards will be handed out in a red carpet extravaganza at our Stony Point campus at 5:30 pm on Sunday, May 4!

The evening will include elegant edible treats, a viewing of the films, and awarding of the Oscars to our creative young people. Ask anyone who went last year: it was simply mahvehlous!
