The Stephen Ministry program at FUMC is happy to announce the commissioning of our newest training class of Stephen Ministers on Sunday, June 1. These four enthusiastic and well-prepared Stephen Ministers are ready, willing, and able to go to work with their newly-acquired listening skills.
The new Stephen Ministers are: Lynn Goodison, Linda Holland, Judy Finley, and Mary Ann Warner. They have been in training since February, learning the importance of listening faithfully, non-judgmentally, and with confidentiality. This training has prepared them to be loving Christian caregivers for those going through a difficult time.
Please celebrate their commissioning with your congratulations, good wishes, prayers, and presence on June 1.
