Children's Ministries

     Here at the First United Methodist Church of Santa Rosa we strive to teach children about God’s great love in an environment rich with friendship, fun, and caring. Through music, stories, crafts, games and activities our children discover the building blocks of respect, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and faith.

     Children & families are warmly invited to participate in numerous programs & activities throughout the year. Each Sunday morning we offer:

Montgomery Campus Sunday School :
Begins 9:30 am at 1551 Montgomery Drive 
Stony Point Campus Sunday School:
Begins 10:45 am at 2150 Giffen Ave.

     In addition to our Sunday morning programs we also have many activities for children and families throughout the year. These include: our Christmas pageant and Easter drama, our Halloween “Trunk or Treat” extravaganza, Advent craft evenings, family fun nights, video nights, our annual Easter egg hunt, and a weekend summer campout.

     Each summer we hold our Vacation Bible School where more than 100 children converge on our Stony Point campus for a week of fun, crafts, games, and learning about God’s love. In June 2007, 105 children and more than 70 adult and teen helpers were part of our VBS program!
